History
The School
The Si Lum Gung Fu club and its martial arts can trace its roots back to the Fabled Shaolin temple. Though most of the historical knowledge was passed down by word of mouth and training, it is rumored that most if not all martial arts stem from yoga and qi gong (pronounced chee gong). More recently, our school was founded by Si Gung Bill Smith over 20 years ago in a building in West Valley City. About ten years later he moved to a little larger facility off of Redwood Road and 7800 South. Finding that place a little too small he then moved the school to where we are now. Si Gung Smith has since retired. The school has been passed down to Si fu Damian Snyder. Si fu Snyder is dedicated to teaching the martial art systems as they were taught to him.
